libfnordlicht

is a simple, blocking implementation of the i2c-protocol as a shared object. it will be incorporated into the main firmware-svn-repository.

IlluminorD

will be a fnordlicht-management-daemon. developement has just begun.

IlluminorD-XMMS

is a xmms-plugin, converting acoustic frequency-information into colors.
BE AWARE that this xmms-plugin will not work with the soft- and hardware you most probably have.
we used special hardware to use the i2c-protocol.
at the time, the new i2c-protocol is implemented and IlluminorD is running, i will port this plugin to the new architecture.
then it should run on a normal fnordlicht, connected via serial. there are two videos demonstrating the capabilities
of the fnordlicht in combination with this plugin:
hacking-session together with fd0 (sorry for the ugly codec...)
HighQ and LowQ low and high quality version of presentation video created by cefalon. praise him.

the source-code has been released under the GPL.
for now there is this tarball:

IlluminorD-FFT

will be a generic illuminord-xmms-version, where FFT will be done from any audio-stream and analysed as in IlluminorD-XMMS.
developement will begin after IlluminorD is done and after the xmms-plugin has support for IlluminorD.
